The HMV Model 101 Portable Gramophone.

The most popular portable gramophone in the 1920s was the model 101. The standard model had a black case but top of the range versions could have cases of a variety of colours. Harrods store in London specialised in coloured models usually with chrome plated fittings.
I recently bought an interesting collection of 101s and can offer some of the rarer coloured models.

A red 101 at £210.00
A blue 101 at £200.00
A green 101 at £200.00
A brown 101 at £200.00
I also can supply good examples of HMV 101s in black cases for £160.00
All have been serviced and play well with the correct No.4 sound-boxes free from “pot-metal decay”.
The gramophones come with 100 needles and a selection of six 78s if required. Delivery with Royal Mail is £15.00.
