“Selby” Horned Gramophone.
This gramophone was made by the Selby Manufacturing Company London. The company produced gramophones in the early 1920s and ceased trading in 1933. They were noted for making internal horned mainly so this horned version is a rare early example.
The gramophone is well made with an oak case and a particularly skillfully made wooden horn also in oak. The horn is in very good condition and I am amazed that such a delicate feature has survived so well.
The gramophone plays well with a good motor and sound-box.

The gramophone is too delicate to be sent by standard courier so should be collected in person from TR8 5SE. A specialist courier could be arranged for an additional £120. It comes with 100 needles and a selection of six 78s if required.
