Here is a very nice Columbia portable in near mint condition. The model 201 from abut 1930.

Columbia and The Gramophone Company (HMV) were the main producers of good quality gramophones from the beginning of the 20th century and were amalgamated into EMI in 1931. At that time the most popular HMV portable was the model 102 and for Columbia it was the model 201. The 201 here is in excellent condition and plays rally well. The record book in the lid is present. (usually missing)

The No.15 sound-box is equal to (if not better than) the popular HMV No.5A/.B boxes and is not subject to pot-metal decay.

The gramophone comes with 100 needles ad selection of 78s if required. Delivery by Royal Mail 24 is about £15
