HMV Model 102.

Here is another example of the popular HMV 102 portable gramophone. Probably the most sought after portable at the moment, this one in a black rexene covered case. The machine has the complicated auto brake, but this one  works well. This gramophone is fitted with a No.5B sound-box which gives strong clear sound reproduction.

Made in about 1931 this HMV 102 shows signs of use but is generally good condition. The 102 is a very reliable portable gramophone, suitable for playing all types of 78s and at recent auctions have been fetching very high prices. This one is sensibly priced and comes with a three month guarantee, 200 free needles and a selection of 78s if needed.
