This is a nice example of the popular small phonograph produced by Thomas Edison at the turn of the Century. This model is the Key-wound Model A. It is capable of playing two minute cylinders only using the original Model "C" reproducer, fitted with a sapphire stylus.
The horn is a reproduction aluminium one that is ideal for the small motor of the Gem as it is light and produces less drag as the carrier travels across during playing. It is in very good condition complete with its wooden lid and plays well.
