Edison "Gem" Moel A.

gem.

This is a nice example of the popular small phonograph produced by Thomas Edison at the turn of the Century. This model is the Key-wound Model A. It is capable of playing two minute cyliders only using the Model "C" reproducer, fitted with a sapphire stylus.

The horn is a reproduction metal one, painted black with a brass flare. Unlike many similar horns it is very light and does not cause undue drag as the reproducer carrier tracks across. It is complete with its wooden lid and plays well.
