Here is an early Columbia Grafonola Table Grand machine from about 1918.
It has a mahogany case in good condition with a louvered front, the louvers are controlled by a knob on the right hand side. This allows some volume control while playing. The motor board is hinged at the back so that the motor can be viewed, but is bolted down by two knurled knobs on either side at the front. There is a stop/start lever front left and the sound-box can be rested on a felt pad to the right of the turntable when not in use.
The gramophone works very well, looks very attractive and is in wholly original condition.
